Prequalification opened on 22 July and will run until 13 September for three upcoming Capacity Market auctions. A T-3 auction for 2022/23 will run on 30-31 January, a T-1 auction will run for 202/21 on 6-7 February and a T-4 auction will run for 2023/24 on 5-6 March.

Participants are qualifying ahead of a decision by the EC on whether the Capacity Market (CM) complies with State Aid legislation. Some refurbishing plant are also prequalifying without knowing whether they can aim for a three-year contract.
