Cost of new central bodies revealed

The total administration costs of the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) and the Electricity Settlements Company (ESC) will add on average 18 pence to household bills in 2015/16, according to estimates set out for consultation by Decc.
Decc said in a consultation lasting less than a month, from 5 November to 3 December, that it anticipated day to day operating costs of the LCCC would be £12.01 million in 2015/16. The ESC would cost £3.89 million.
