E.On has launched a tariff for electric and hybrid vehicle owners, using energy purchased from 100% renewable electricity and green gas. The tariff acts like an Economy 7 deal: the night rate – when many electric and hybrid car owners will choose to charge their vehicles - is priced 33% below the day rate (described as “competitive”).
