The Non-Fossil Purchasing Agency dates back to the first renewables projects. Could it play a role in an evolving energy market? Janet Wood spoke to Stuart Stephens, commercial director, about the organisation’s history and future
Stuart Stephens, commercial director at the Non-Fossil Purchasing Agency (NFPA), describes the organisation as “legacy”. But it’s far from winding down; instead, he says it has become a valuable asset for small and renewable energy generators.
At the moment I want more generators. We have 19 suppliers whose appetite for power is enormous and I can’t feed it to them fast enough.
