A Community Windpower windfarm in the Scottish borders will power half of Nestlé’s operations in the UK and Ireland when it is completed in 2017.

The new deal, an initial 15-year partnership with ­Community Windpower, will see a 30MW, nine-turbine windfarm open at Sanquhar in Dumfries and Galloway in the first half of 2017.
