Opinion: A domestic project pipeline is the spur to developing products for the global market

The UK will have to be better at developing and exporting skills and products in future, when it loses the ability to treat the rest of Europe as a quasi-domestic market. On the other hand, it has more incentive to target some of the biggest potential markets for its skills.

The renewables and green energy industries can be of real value here. Deployment is growing across the world and the UK has high-tech products and services to sell.
