Opus Energy: informed customers are good news

As a business supplier, Opus Energy now has to be a buyer too, helping companies who want to self-generate. Steve James, the company’s director of solutions, says: “There are a number of different conversations going on and it varies by the size or awareness of the customer. [We started] entering into power purchase agreements [PPAs] with renewable generators maybe three years ago. That was in response to our supply customers wanting to have the assurance of knowing where their power was coming from.”
