P2 revision: will it mean cheaper connections, or a slow and uncertain process?

An industry working group is set to start consulting on changes to distribution network supply standards – so-called P2 – that could see local security vary between areas. The aim is  to reduce costs, both for customers and companies making connections, and make networks more flexible, but some argue that the change could slow new connections.
