Ofgem has proposed an option for reviewing electricity networks’ performance incentives – and the structure of their reward mechanisms – as part of a mid-period review of the 2015-23 price control period for distribution network operators (known as ED1).

The eight-year price control period has the option, but not requirement, for a review mid-way though the period and the opportunity arises in 2019.
