Stage set for Energy Bill fight over onshore wind

The flagship Energy Bill started its Commons journey in earnest with a second reading in the lower chamber in January, which went smoothly without a vote. In the Lords, of course, it received a mauling -following an ambush by Opposition and cross-bench peers, which removed the administration’s proposal to end the onshore wind subsidy regime early.
