Which? sets tests for CMA's conclusions

Consumer organisation Which? has set out five tests that it wants the Competition and Markets Authority findings on the energy industry to pass when it publishes preliminary conclusions on the energy market.
The group said it wanted: increased consumer engagement and simpler tariffs; protection for custoers who choose not to engage; the ability for small suppliers to compete, looking particularly at the effect of vertical integration; greater transparency on big six company profitability; and improved liquidity and information to promote easier wholesale trading.
