E.On’s successor company shapes become clearer

The company that will be formed to take on E.On’s conventional power generation and upstream activities, will be known as Uniper, the company has announced.
The new name – proposed by a company member and derived from the phrase “unique performance” – was announced alongside the management structure of the two companies.
Uniper will be headquartered in Dusselfdorf and led by chief executive Klaus Shafer.
