EU reluctantly clears Hinkley Point C
State Aid granted to support a new nuclear power plant at Hinkley Point C “will not lead to undue distortions of competition in the Single Market and is therefore compatible with EU state aid rules,” EU commissioners agreed in October.
Austria has already announced that it will launch a legal challenge to the decision.
