Infinis back in private hands

Majority shareholder Monterey Capital is to acquire the remaining 31.5% of Infinis, taking the renewable energy company into private ownership. The acquisition values the company at £555 million.
Monterey is part of the Terra Firma group, which owns the remainder of Infinis and announced plans to sell its stake two years ago (see New Power’s interview with Infinis chief executive Eric Machiels in the February 2015 issue).
