Invisibles make case for storage

Dominic Whittome argues that the benefits of storage go far beyond power. It can cut other business costs too

The value of electricity storage is split between the visible and invisible.

Visible benefits include: added value to the user through lower future power bills, enhanced embedded generation efficiency, improved power quality, plant efficiency savings and extra income, such as frequency response revenues from the grid.
