Statoil’s Energy Ventures capital fund, which has $200 million to invest in renewable energy -companies, has invested $3 million in United Wind. The company offers a leasing option for onsite wind turbines in rural areas in the US.

SPI Energy subsidiary SPI China (HK) has sold the 15MW Hall Farm solar project in Norfolk to a fund managed by Blackrock. SPI acquired the entire issued share capital of Solar Park Developments 2, which owns the project. Hall Farm started up in August 2015. It receives Renewables Obligation Certificates (Rocs) at a rate of 1/3 Roc/MWh.
