Peterborough City Council slashes green energy projects

Peterborough City Council is set to scrap most of an ambitious plan to install 74MW of solar and wind generation.
The original plan, announced two years ago, was to develop three green energy facilities on farmland the council owns, to make the city self-sufficient in electricity and create an income stream for the local authority.
