Plutus looks towards next capacity auction

Diesel farm investor Plutus has “recognised how valuable the [Capacity Market] auction is," company chairman Charles Tatnall told New Power.  Tatnall said Plutus hopes to have at least 140MW of capacity to bid into the 2015 auction (for delivery in four years), saying he expected that prices in the 2015 auction would be above £25/kW and possibly closer to £30/kW, although the 2014 auction for delivery in 2018 cleared at just £18.40/kW.
