Power system 'comfortably secure' even if coal plant is all retired by 2021, says report

Even in adverse market conditions the UK could shut down all its coal plant by 2023 and still “comfortably secure the system until such time as replacement capacity is commissioned”, according to a new report by Trilemma UK for the European Climate Foundation.
