Companies who participate in the gas market will miss the planned start date for implementing a new IT system for the competitive market developed in a process named “Project Nexus".
In an open letter in May, regulator Ofgem accepted that although most companies would have completed their own system development by the planned go-live date of 1 October, they would not have undertaken the necessary market trials required.
