Up to 2GW of operating solar projects will change hands over the next 18 months, according to Dan Wells, partner at Foresight and investment manager at the group’s solar and infrastructure venture capital fund.

But Wells said the fund would have a “prudent approach to acquisitions”, saying that the scarcity value of UK operational portfolios is increasing.”
