Utilita Energy has applied for judicial review of smart meter rollout requirements. The pre-payment specialist supplier reportedly believes that full testing has not been completed on Smets 2 meters. It wants to force ministers to scrap a requirement that companies install Smets 2 meters instead of the Smets 1 version from October. Utilita said it expected a decision in three to four weeks.
