Visibility on energy policy landscape delayed by multiplying reviews

More reviews of Department of Energy and Climate Change (Decc) subsidies, and of the energy sector as a whole, look set to check stakeholder hopes for early clarity on policy.
The raft of reviews comes as the Department is under pressure to give potential investors in big-ticket items such as offshore wind visibility of the project pipeline. It also comes as Decc gears up to lead UK negotiations over a new climate deal at the “Conference of the Parties” in Paris at the end of November.
