Renewable Energy Holdings has failed in its bid to overturn refusal of development consent for the Mynydd y Gwynt windfarm. Then secretary of state Amber Rudd refused development consent for the 27-turbine project in November 2015.
BDB planning lawyer and blogger Angus Walker explained in his blog that the promoter challenged how the secretary of state had considered nature conservation issues, especially the effect on Red Kites.
