Power project developers in Wales are nervous of submitting applications for development consent to Wales’s Planning Inspectorate. The Inspectorate took over the consents process for developments of national significance (DNSs) in Wales on schedule in March this year, but with no projects fully in process yet, developers have little clarity on the body’s ‘checklist’ on paperwork supporting applications.
