C.Gen Killingholme has acquired the Killingholme ‘A’ station, which permanently ceased operations in March 2016, from Centrica. 

It gives C.Gen secure connections to the electrical and high-pressure gas grids for its consented 470MW North Killingholme CCGT, which it now plans to enter into the next capacity market auction.

The plant, near Immingham in North Lincolnshire, was granted a Development Consent Order in September 2014.
