The Pensions Infrastucture Platform, set up to help UK public sector pension funds invest in infrastructure, is to acquire a £400 million portofilio of projects from Standard Life Aberdeen. The portfolio includes energy from waste plants.
PIP chief executive Mike Weston told the Financial Times the PIP had now “achieved critical mass” with an investment portfolio close to £1.75 billion.
