Renewable energy investment company Low Carbon, and utility scale solar developer Nur Energie, say they plan to take forward a project to use concentrated solar power to provide electricity to Europe.
A project that would have generated renewable energy in the desert and exported it – notably from the Sahara to Europe – has been dramatically scaled back.
Amber Infrastructure has announced it is the funder for the UK’s largest roof mounted solar panel array at Marks and Spencer’s East Midlands Distribution Centre at Castle Donington. It will supply and install the 24,000 PV panels involved.
